The summit is organised by ABU’s Media Provenance Summit Japan Project, with support from IPTC, EBU, and the BBC.

Trust in media content is being challenged worldwide by misinformation, disinformation, and generative AI.
The summit addresses these challenges through the practical adoption of C2PA, a framework for content provenance and authenticity.
The summit will bring together broadcasters and media professionals from a wide range of regions worldwide in Tokyo to share experiences, discuss technical and operational challenges, and explore concrete pathways toward implementation.
The summit aims to promote dialogue and collaboration toward building a sustainable Media Provenance ecosystem across the broadcasting and media industry.
