Media Provenance Summit Toronto 2026

After the success of 2025’s Media Provenance events in Paris, New York City and Bergen (organised by or with AFP, the BBC, EBU, the Content Authenticity Initiative and Media Cluster Norway) the IPTC is happy to announce the next event in our series of Media Provenance Summits, to be held in Toronto, Canada on Thursday April 16th, 2026.

Meeting Venue

This year’s meeting will be held at the Reuters offices in downtown Toronto. Exact meeting details will be given to attendees after they register.

Please note that there will NOT be an option to attend online – we want to encourage interaction and discussion amongst attendees.

Expression of Interest

Registration to the Media Provenance Summit is by invitation only, to ensure a productive mix of publishers, broadcasters, hardware and software vendors and systems integrators. If you would like to be considered for an invitation, please complete this form (TBC)

IPTC members will be given preference (especially as the meeting is hosted the day after the IPTC Spring Meeting 2026 which will be held at the same venue).
