Brendan Quinn of the IPTC is presenting and moderating a webinar hosted by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union called “Building Trust in Media: C2PA, Identity Assertions, and the Future of Media Provenance” on Tuesday 14th July.

This webinar will provide an overview of the latest developments in the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA) ecosystem, including CAWG Identity Assertions, the C2PA Conformance Program, and industry standardisation efforts led by IPTC. Participants will gain insights into how media provenance frameworks are being adopted across the global media industry and discussed at major international forums.

Brendan Quinn will be joined by Mohammed Badr Taddist from the EBU in Swizterland, Judy Parnall and Laura Ellis from the BBC in the UK, Kenneth Warmuth and Martin Grohme of WDR / ADR in Germany.

The session will also explore practical considerations, challenges, and opportunities for broadcasters in the Asia-Pacific region looking to implement media provenance technologies and strengthen trust in their digital content.
