IPTC Archive of Verified News Publisher sample content
The IPTC is collecting an archive of sample content from Verified News Publishers, along with an extract of the C2PA metadata included in each file.
The archive can be found at https://iptc.org/std/MediaProvenance/SampleContent/
We are also saving the output of the standard content extraction tool c2patool for each content item, for ease of reference.
For reference, the command used to create the Content Credentials extract with signature information embedded is the following:
c2patool --detailed ${mediafile} trust --allowed_list verified-news-publishers-list.pem
Where “verified-news-publishers-list.pem” is the file at https://www.iptc.org/verified-news-publishers-list/verified-news-publishers-list.pem
