A Common Ground for Metadata
IPTC Video Metadata defines a set of widely used metadata properties with a focus on describing the visible and audible content, the associated rights, assigned identifiers and other administrative data. Further it includes a basic set of technical fields. These properties can be stored by different technical video standards either by embedding the metadata or by an associated stand-alone document.
