Tool for transforming IPTC metadata to corresponding schema.org metadata

This tool supports the Licensable feature of Google Image. (Link will follow later)

Requirements

• The ExifTool software installed on your computer.
• A Node JS server/engine (>= v10) installed on your computer.

How to use

• Select the image file with embedded photo metadata (on your computer)
• Adjust the transform.js Javascript
• Set imageFileDir to the directory where this image file resides
• Set imageFileName to the name of this image file
• Run on your command line: node transform.js
• The transformed schema.org metadata, using the JSON-LD format, should be in the file schemaorgPmd.json

What else

The file example-page1.html in this folder is a web page using the image file (with embedded IPTC metadata) in the images folder and having the corresponding schema.org metadata embedded into its HTML.
